July 11, 2026 — What Now?

Question

The deck has my attention now. After asking for evidence that I was connecting with it, I experienced several apparent synchronicities: drawing the raven cards before visiting the graveyard and finding raven feathers all over, readings suggesting that a woman would return, and then seeing her return shortly afterward.

I feel as though the question of whether the deck and I are connected has been answered, at least to my satisfaction. At the same time, I have been wondering whether I need to move beyond the woman who has dominated the recent readings.

With an open mind about what I should focus on next, I asked:

What now?

Three-Card Spread

  • Past: Fear of Failure
  • Present: Mirror Labyrinth
  • Future: Haunted House

My Interpretation

The first thing that stood out was the appearance of Fear of Failure in the past position. This card appeared very recently in a reading concerning the woman, where it represented someone seemingly standing on the edge of a cliff—emotionally overwhelmed, afraid, or close to some form of collapse.

Because the card is so closely connected in my mind to those recent readings, seeing it again immediately made me believe that the deck may still be discussing her. Its movement into the past position could suggest that the situation described previously is now becoming part of the background of the current reading, rather than something that has disappeared entirely.

The central card, Mirror Labyrinth, made me imagine a person trapped inside a maze where every direction reveals only another reflection of themselves. It would be extremely difficult to find the exit because the person cannot see beyond their own image, thoughts, fears, or interpretations.

This could describe someone who is trapped inside their own mind, unable to distinguish the true path forward from the reflections surrounding them. It could also describe me. I may be caught in a labyrinth of my own interpretations, repeatedly seeing this woman in the cards because she has occupied so much of my attention.

My initial reaction was that perhaps the deck was refusing to let the subject go. I had been considering moving on, but the cards seemed to pull me directly back into the same story. That leaves me questioning whether the reading is genuinely continuing the previous thread or whether I have become mentally locked into seeing everything through that lens.

This concern has become more serious because people in my audience have started questioning whether it is ethical for me to continue reading about a person who did not specifically ask to have her life examined. Some believe that her private experiences are none of my business.

I understand that criticism. Even if I believe the cards are raising the subject, I still have control over what I do with the reading, how far I take the interpretation, and whether I share it publicly. The cards may present an image, but they do not remove my responsibility to use restraint.

The future card, Haunted House, created two very different possibilities.

My first and simplest impression was that the deck might be directing me toward a new experience: perhaps visiting or investigating a local haunted house. That interpretation would shift the reading away from this woman and toward my own curiosity, exploration, and work with the paranormal.

However, because the first two cards seemed connected to the recent readings about her, I also considered whether the Haunted House could represent a place from her past. Perhaps there is a location associated with something unresolved, and returning to it—or confronting what it represents—could help her escape the Mirror Labyrinth.

The future placement of the house is important. If it merely represented something that happened in a particular house long ago, I would expect it to appear in the past position. Instead, it appears ahead. That made me wonder whether the card suggests a future return to a place connected to the past, or some future confrontation with whatever the house symbolizes.

Still, I do not feel comfortable reaching out to this person and telling her that she should consider returning to a particular house or revisit a traumatic event. That would be an extraordinary conclusion to draw from a symbolic card reading, especially without knowing the facts of her life.

The Haunted House may not represent a literal building at all. It may represent the emotional structure in which a person continues to live: a mind or life haunted by memories, fear, guilt, grief, or unresolved experiences. In that interpretation, the future is not necessarily about physically returning anywhere. It may be about eventually confronting what continues to haunt the person.

The unresolved question is whether this reading is about her, about me, or about both of us in different ways.

Perhaps she is represented by the Fear of Failure and the Haunted House, while I am represented by the Mirror Labyrinth—caught between curiosity, concern, intuition, public criticism, and uncertainty about my own motives.

I cannot control how other people judge these readings, but I can control whether I act responsibly. I do not need to force the cards into a definite conclusion, contact this woman with an alarming interpretation, or publish every speculative thought as though it were fact.

For now, the most honest conclusion is that the reading remains ambiguous. It may be warning me that I am trapped inside my own interpretation and need to find a way out of the labyrinth before deciding where the cards are directing me next.

Lastly, my own people pleasing nature is making me question this journal. I am being criticized about my readings and told that I should be ashamed of what my intuition tells me. While I don’t feel that is true (that I should be ashamed of my intuition), I also question the value to myself of putting myself out there to be labeled a bad person for just being curious and tapping into my intuition. I’m reminded that doing things like I’m doing puts my every thought on stage for the world to judge me.

  1. I am sorry to hear you think people are criticizing you. I have not picked up on that. Unless…………you took a question I asked as a criticism. I was just a question.

  2. This is a tough one.
It seems pretty personal. While the curious part of my nature wants to hear the whole story, there is a part of me that doesn’t think I should.
How well does your audience need to know you?
Possibly, the woman you are talking about has read all of this. Can you and she not talk directly?
This seems like something that really has you stuck, and yet it is coming up in something public.
Only you know what you need to do.
    I wish peace for you.
    Take care.

        1. Better yet, she reached out to me so yes, I’ve communicated a bit with them and have a better feel for the readings and their meaning. Thank you!

  3. I think you may be right about the house. Horrific traumas I beleive stain and bleed into a structure where so much evil occurred. I once dropped a letter after I drove past said house one night and saw a trampoline in the front yard and realised a young family lived there and my heart sank as I knew that house oozed and bled nothing but pain and evil. I wrote a careful letter letting them know if there were unexplained troubles and struggles in their life and carefully wanted to reassure them its external to their control and sensitivily as I could encouraged them to relocate as nothing could cleanse that house and it would latch on to them. A few months later the house was up for sale.
Lee try to stop paying more attention to the negative, your light over shadows the darkness 💫🌑

  4. I absolutely do not think you have done anything wrong and shame on anyone who made you feel that way! You have not named any names and if anything, you have shown extreme compassion and empathy, things that too many people are sadly lacking. Don’t let those people make you question yourself!!!! Sometimes, we can’t force the cards to move on when they aren’t ready to. That is why I said, try to move on, IF the cards will let you. I said that more for your peace of mind than anything else, because I can see how much this is weighing on you. So you just keep doing you. You don’t have control over what the cards have to say. If people don’t like it, then they don’t understand how it works. You are doing a fantastic job and I look forward every day to your journal entries.

  5. Lee I believe you would understand that some people with terrible trauma and having no one listen to them their biggest pain is having a voice or someone listen so they know that they mattered enough to acknowledge what happened was wrong and evil , imagine going your whole life wondering why no one ever listens to you .. about anything, you begin to wonder if your invisible wonder what the hell is so different about you , can you realise what it would do for a traumatised woman to finally have someone hear her and acknowledge her as someone with some value and she didn’t seek it out. To have it put out into the universe. Please take a moment to think what this would do for this woman to have someone see her. Lee reach out to her, you have handled this with such compassion and selflessness, I hope this amazing gift you have given to This woman you experience something for yourself which you will
    Blessings 🩷💫
