My Initial Impressions
As soon as I turned over the cards, the Vampire appeared in the center position—the present and most important card of the spread. I immediately smiled because I had been expecting her. Since my very first interaction with this deck, when the Vampire card jumped out during my introductory one-card pull, I’ve felt that she represents the spirit or guiding presence of the deck. Seeing her front and center today felt almost like she was saying, “Here I am. Let’s get to work.”
Unlike many of the previous readings, I didn’t have an immediate intuitive understanding of the other two cards.
The Mystic Swamp appeared in the past position. While the imagery is compelling, I couldn’t immediately connect it to a clear message. It feels ambiguous, and I suspect its meaning may become clearer as I continue reflecting on the reading throughout the day.
The Banshee appeared in the future position, and this card also left me uncertain. I don’t yet know what she’s trying to communicate, but I have a feeling the answer may reveal itself with time rather than through immediate interpretation.
Reflection
One detail immediately stood out to me: tonight is my Paranormal LIVE show.
The fact that the Vampire—the figure I associate with the spirit of this deck—appeared as the central card on the very day I’ll be discussing paranormal subjects feels significant. Whether that significance is psychological, symbolic, or something beyond my current understanding, I don’t know. But it certainly captured my attention.
Rather than treating the reading as a prediction, I want to approach tonight as an opportunity for observation. If the Vampire truly represents the guiding presence I’ve come to associate with this deck, perhaps there is something she wants me to notice during the livestream.
My goal for today is to remain open and attentive.
I’m going to think about some kind of action or experiment I can perform during the livestream—something that allows me to test this impression in an honest and curious way. I don’t yet know what that experiment will be, but I’ll spend the evening considering it and watching carefully to see whether anything meaningful unfolds.
For now, the message feels simple:
The Vampire has returned. Now it’s time to pay attention.
