July 8, 2026 – What Should I Focus on Today?

Question:
What should I focus on today?

Three-Card Spread:

  • Present: Skeleton
  • Past: Djinn
  • Future: Nymph

My Interpretation:

I wasn’t feeling a particularly strong question this morning, so I simply asked the deck what I should focus on today. The reading immediately brought me back to the same woman who has appeared symbolically throughout several of my recent readings.

The Skeleton in the present position instantly made me think of her. As in previous readings, it gave me the impression of someone who feels emotionally dead inside, disconnected, or hollow because of past experiences.

What stood out this time was the combination of the surrounding cards. Both the Djinn and the Nymph are magical beings with long histories in mythology. That creates an interesting pattern: a central figure who appears emotionally empty, surrounded on both sides by symbols of magic and the supernatural.

Looking deeper, I wondered whether the Djinn represents a wish, bargain, or deep desire from the past. In mythology, djinn are often associated with granting wishes that come with unintended consequences. The Nymph, by contrast, evokes beauty, charm, allure, and an almost enchanting quality. One possible interpretation is that this person longed for those qualities or pursued some ideal represented by the Nymph, and whatever path they took to achieve that desire ultimately left them feeling empty rather than fulfilled. Symbolically, it feels like a wish that did not bring the happiness it promised.

As with the recent readings, I remain cautious about taking this too literally. These impressions have begun to center on what seems to be a real individual, and I don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable or suggest these interpretations are factual. They may be completely wrong. My goal is simply to record what the cards seem to be communicating to me in the moment and preserve those first impressions honestly, without claiming certainty. Over time, the pattern may become clearer—or it may prove to have meant something entirely different. Either way, the journal serves as a record of the process.

  1. Lee, question from the previous post about using this deck for Idaho 4. When you said the returning woman said ” you pulled me back” was this what you heard intuitively or did she actually state that in chat?

  2. Lee. I see some things I could easily comment on…..but not going to. You have enough on your plate.
